Commercial Flat Roof Moss Removal in Surrey, BC

This commercial storefront building in Surrey, BC had a gravel flat roof buried under thick moss, pine needles, and organic debris. The tall evergreens around the property had let a dense moss mat build up over the years. It was trapping water around the rooftop HVAC units, roof drains, and vent stacks, which puts the roof membrane at real risk of leaks and early failure.

Our Roof Moss Removal Process

Our crew removed the moss by hand across the whole flat roof, working carefully around HVAC equipment, vents, and roof penetrations so nothing got damaged. We bagged and hauled away dozens of bags of moss and debris, leaving the gravel ballast clear so the roof can drain properly again.

Why Commercial Roof Moss Removal Matters

In the Lower Mainland's wet climate, moss on a flat roof holds moisture against the surface, clogs drains, and speeds up wear on the membrane. Regular moss removal and roof cleaning protects your building, helps your roof last longer, and saves you from expensive repairs later.
